It looks like summer has finally arrived! It’s a great time to take advantage of the Farmers’ Markets in both Washougal and Camas. They’ve had a late start on produce but with the warmer weather, there are great choices for us now. It’s easy to hit both markets on a Saturday morning.

We also have a lot of choices if we want to take a nice walk. There are dozens of parks and trails to choose from. Both cities web sites have excellent information: http://washougal.biz/cow/index.htm, http://www.ci.camas.wa.us/. I particularly like the Lacamas Creek trail.

There are events happening just about every weekend. The big ones are Camas Days and Washougalfest. They both take place on the weekend beginning Friday, July 25. I plan to go to both! I’ll be volunteering to pour wine again at Camas days, so stop by and see me there. I’m looking forward to the first Washougalfest ever.
