2024 Camas Days - Senior Royalty Court Nominations
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2023 Senior Royalty of Camas Days. This is the 42nd year of the Senior Royalty and we would like your help in continuing this tradition.

In 1981 Camas Days Festival crowned its first Senior Citizen King and Queen, Faye and Earl Miller and the tradition has continued since then.

Criteria for nominations to the Senior Royalty include the following:

  • Nominee is 55 years or older (if couple, at least one nominee needs to be 55 years or older).
  • Resident living in Camas or Washougal.
  • Has had a strong history of local volunteer service and remains active in the community.

Nominations may be made for a King and Queen, an individual King, or an individual Queen. Nominations must be turned in by May 26, 2023. If you have any questions, please contact Jeanette Jester at 360-834-2354.

UP COMING SPECIAL EVENT FOR SENIOR ROYALTY

Come celebrate the crowning of the Camas Days 2023 Royal Court King and Queen. The process of Royalty selection is already underway, and the honored couple (or single) will be announced in the Post Record in June. A dessert reception will be served.

Nominees must be age 55 or older and live in Camas or Washougal to be eligible. All nominations must include a narrative of approximately 250 words and should include information, such as volunteer service in the Camas-Washougal community, volunteerism in youth, civic, church, etc., activities and length of volunteer service. Nominations without a narrative will not be considered.
